IT spending will increase by 6% this year. In addition to spending on IT services, software purchases will grow by nearly 10% this year, according to Gartner (https://www.gartner.com). In contrast, data centre services will grow by just 0.6%. The company predicts the largest increase in offering infrastructure as a service – by more than a third, and in selling security software in the cloud, where projected spending will increase by 51%.

The company predicts a fall in PC and tablet sales – by about a tenth in the end-customer segment and by 7% for companies. This is due to a large market saturation from the covid years 2020 and 2021, according to Czech representative Gartner, but also less money for investments due to constantly rising inflation. Recovery in this area is not expected until 2025-2026.

In the past year, the segments with the highest growth were mainly systems deliveries to data centres with almost 28%, IT services with an 11% increase and software sales with 9.2% growth. In contrast, equipment sales fell by 5%.
